Dr. Sharron Miles

Dr. Sharron Miles
Executive Director of Special Projects


Dr. Sharron Miles has been a part of the Cleburne Independent School district since 2001 and has worked in education since 1978. She has a B.S. and Master’s degree in Education from Southwest Texas State University.

She is certified in elementary education, English as a Second Language, speech therapy, and learning disabilities. As Executive Director of Special Projects, she is responsible for the administration of Adult Education, Bilingual Education, Community Education, Immigrant and Migrant Education as well as the district Health Services department.

She is active in the Cleburne Rotary Club, Zonta International of Johnson County, the United Way of Johnson County and the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce.


Gina Jones

Gina Jones
Special Projects Secretary


Gina Jones has been with the Cleburne Independent School District since 2000. As Special Projects secretary, she is responsible for the delivery of services and support within the office. Gina is also the secretary for Zonta International of Johnson County and the Hospitality Chairwoman for CAPS. She is bilingual.



Gay Green

Gay Green
Bilingual Education Director


Gay Green was born and raised in Cleburne, Texas, and has been a part of the Cleburne Independent School District since 1981. She joined the Special Projects staff in 2003. She received a B.A. from Texas Wesleyan College and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Texas at Arlington. Gay has been working in bilingual education since 1992. As the Bilingual Education Director, she works with teachers and administrators to ensure a quality education for English language learners in the Cleburne Independent School District. She is bilingual.


Kara Mead

Kara Mead
Community Education Director


Kara Mead has been with the Cleburne Independent School District since 2002. She has a B.S from Wayland Baptist College. As the Community Education Director, she is responsible for registration, supervision of instructors, and program development. Kara is a member of Zonta International of Johnson County and a Cleburne Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. She is also on the board of the United Way of Johnson County.


Barbara Yoder

Barbara Yoder
Adult Education Director


Barbara Yoder joined Cleburne Independent School District in 2004. She has a B.A. in Biology from Kansas State University. She is new to education, but she has extensive experience in training, human resources, safety and project management. As the Adult Education Director, she is responsible for supervising the administration of the Adult Education programs. Barbara is a member of Zonta International of Johnson County and is on the Community Education Advisory Board.


Daniel Correa

Daniel Correa
Evaluator/Instruction Trainer for Adult Education


Daniel Correa has been a part of Cleburne Independent School District since 2002. He has a B.A. in business administration from the Adventist University of Central America in Costa Rica. As the Evaluator/Instruction Trainer for Adult Education, he is responsible for supplying services to Adult Education, including staff training, student recruitment, and testing and evaluation. Daniel is a member of the Community Education Advisory Council and is bilingual.


Amy Martin

Amy Martin
TANF/Migrant/Adult Literacy Coordinator for Adult Education


Amy Martin joined Cleburne Independent School District in 2002 and taught Pre-K until moving to the Special Projects Department in 2004. She received a B.S. in Education from Baylor and is certified in Special Education, ESL, and Early Childhood. She is responsible for the TANF classes, which help adults succeed in the workplace. Amy also coordinates the Migrant Recruitment and Adult Literacy programs. She is the Chair of Fellowship for Cleburne’s chapter of Zonta International and she is on the Community Education Advisory Council.

Bonnie Parks
ACES Clerk


Bonnie Parks began working with the Cleburne Independent School District in 2003. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Texas Wesleyan College and an M.S. in Elementary Education from East Texas State University. As the ACES clerk, she is responsible for maintaining the student information in the ACES database. She has been in education since 1990.


Lisa Davis

Lisa Davis
Office Manager for Adult Education


Lisa Davis joined Cleburne Independent School District in 2000. She has certificates in Travel and Tourism from the International Aviation and Travel Academy. As the office manager for Adult Education, she oversees the operations of the Adult Education office. Lisa is a member of CAPS and is bilingual. She is currently attending Hill College.
