Preparation
Adult
Education GED preparation classes are designed to
assist adults in preparing for the General Education
Development (GED) examination.
Instructors teach language arts, reading, writing,
social studies, science and mathematics according to
each participants' identified needs.
Whether you need in-depth work in all content areas
or just one, we can help ease your anxieties and
gain the skills and confidence needed to
successfully obtain your GED.

Are you eligible to enroll in the GED
class? |

You must
not be enrolled in school.

You must
be a Texas resident.

You will
need proof of withdrawal from school
if you are younger than 18.

You will
need a Social Security card.
-
If you
are 16 years of age, you must be
referred by a public agency that has
supervision or custody of you under
a court. You will need documentation
of the supervision or custody from
the agency.

If you
are 17 years of age, you will need
written parental/guardian
permission.

the GED test,
contact Hill College at 817-641-9887 ext. #253. The
test is given by appointment only. Call the testing
center for dates and to schedule an appointment.
The tests are $70.00 for a full test and $15.00 for
a retest. Free practice tests are available at
www.gedpractice.com.
Adult
Basic Education
These
classes focus on reading, writing and math skills up
to the eight-grade level. Successfully finishing
this program will help the student be better at
his/her job, or even help them get a better job!
We
offer numerous classes in Johnson and Hood Counties
in order to accommodate participants with varying
schedules.
All
GED / Adult Basic Education classes are free of
charge.
