The Special Projects Department is
responsible for the delivery of services to specific support
programs in the Cleburne Independent School District. The
Special Projects staff works with teachers, parents,
students and community members to improve the quality of
education and the quality of life in Cleburne and
surrounding areas.
The Cleburne
ISD Special Projects Department is committed to providing a
comprehensive program which is responsive to the educational
needs of the residents of our diverse community including
opportunities for basic education, vocational training, and
personal enrichment. It is our vision that our students, as
lifelong learners, will become informed, contributing
citizens of the community and knowledgeable, self-directed
members of their family and the workforce.
We believe
that learning is a lifelong process; that education for
adult learners should be provided in a varied and flexible
environment in which adult students and teachers seek
excellence in academic, vocational and personal skills
development. It is our commitment to provide an integrated
comprehensive service delivery system of education,
training, and supportive resources for identified adult
populations. The social, economic and academic achievement
of our students is promoted by utilizing collaborative,
cooperative interagency networks and school-linked services.
Upon completion of a chosen course of study, the adult
learner will be better prepared for the workplace, effective
citizenship, and post-secondary educational pursuits. |
